I am a former FatChanceBellyDance® Studio Instructor, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I’ve studied many different styles of bellydance and movement, and bring all of those to my understanding of American Tribal Style®, but ATS® is by far my most favorite way to be present with my body and community. I love the spectacle as well as the discipline, and the subtle-yet-important philosophical aspects that the dance implies.
Formerly, I lived and taught in Portland, Maine, at Bright Star World Dance studio. The Maine dance community is warm and welcoming, and creatively fertile, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them!
In 2011 I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, in part to further my dance study, and quickly entered the ranks of the FatChanceBellyDance® teaching staff. Now, after moving on from FatChance, I get to support the worldwide ATS® community from my new home base.
